Principal's Message
Dear Stony Brook Families,
Welcome to the home of the Panthers! My name is Kelly Harper, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Stony Brook Elementary. Since joining Central York School District in 2014, I have had the joy of watching our students grow and thrive.
Stony Brook is home to approximately 500 of our youngest panthers. Starting primary school is the beginning of an incredible journey as these early years are full of wonder, curiosity, and growth. At Stony Brook, it is our pleasure to walk alongside you and your child during this time. Our dedicated staff is committed to helping every child feel valued, supported, and excited to learn each day. We believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive school community where each student feels a strong sense of belonging.There is truly nothing more special than welcoming our newest Panthers as they begin their educational journey.

Stony Brook R.O.A.R
Stony Brook R.O.A.R. is an acronym commonly used across the building as part of the school's character development program. Students are always expected to exhibit their Stony Brook R.O.A.R. qualities!

A: Achievement
R: Responsibility
All Kindergarteners and new students receive a Stony Brook R.O.A.R. t-shirt upon starting school. Stony Brook hosts various spirit days throughout the school year where students are invited to wear their shirts.
